At the lost of my cousin, John Ward Hearn, Jr., I wanted to do something different and special. I seen the blankets at a friends funeral so I decided to call Rawls Mortuary at 317-667-7025 to schedule an appointment. Upon arrival, they were extremely courteous and helpful. The blankets with his pictures displayed with earth tone colors that I chose was outstanding. Everyone who saw them were very impressed. In addition to the blankets they provide unique services that are not commonly use in the funeral business such as a saxophone player, a gospel poet, and best of all reasonable prices. When a family is going through the whirlwind of a sudden illness and unexpected loss, what they need is a provider that brings calm in the middle of the storm. That’s what Adrian Dennis and the entire team at Rawls Mortuary did for my family. We had the added complication that our loved one was visiting Indiana, but lived in NC and needed to be transported back home for burial. This means expertise was needed on both ends to take care of our loved one, to support family in both states, to coordinate transportation to the receiving funeral home and to ensure our overall cost was fair and manageable. Rawls did all of that and more. When my family was able to see their work and all of the personalized keepsakes that were INCLUDED, we were absolutely overwhelmed.
