Sharon Rose Ingram-Ragland was born on Saturday, August 9, 1952, to Willie James & La’Blanche (née Long) Ingram in Tribbey, KY. At the age of 10, the family moved to Indianapolis, IN. Sharon graduated Crispus Attucks High School in 1970 and commenced to Indiana University earning her Bachelor’s Degree in 1974. She enjoyed spending her time gardening, fishing, and traveling. Sharon retired from the Marion County Health Department in 1998. One thing for certain, Sharon will give you the business (reword this).
Sharon was proceeded in death by her parents, her husband Samuel Ragland, her brothers Kenneth Miller & Willie Ingram, Jr., and her sister Theresa Ingram. She leaves to cherish her memory her son DuJuan (Stephanie) Haynes, her grandchildren, Austin & Destinee Haynes, her brothers, William, Charles, & Gregory Ingram, her sisters, Ada Torrence, Bernetta, Rhonda & Stephanie Ingram, her best friend of 35 years, Barbara Moran, her caregiver Aunyae Bird, and host of nephews, nieces, cousins, family and friends.
