Matthew Henderson

King Matthew Oliver Andre Henderson entered this world September 25, 1991, born to Monica Burns and Preston Henderson in Gary, Indiana. Matthew attended high school in Richmond, Virginia.

Matthew was loved by all, and his influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew him. A devoted father of 4, a lyrical songwriter, and music producer and video gamer, Matthew will always live forever in our hearts. 

He departed this life on October 26, 2021, in his home.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother Vallie D Henderson, paternal grandfather William Henderson Sr., uncle William Henderson, Jr., uncle Oliver Ezell, aunt Vera Black, aunt Gladys Buchanan, aunt Obine Williams, aunt Virginia Chum and great uncle Leland Marion.

Matthews’ life will forever be cherished by his loving sons, Xion Henderson, Elijah Henderson, Samuel Henderson and Rocco Henderson. Spouse Leann Holman-Henderson, parents Monica (Damon) Burns and Preston Henderson, sister Tashira (Charles) Henderson, brothers Preston (Angelia) Henderson and Aaron (Octavia) Henderson. Godbrother Andrew Jackson, companion Tess Quinto and a host of devoted relatives and friends.
