MacAuthur Gill

MacArthur Gill was born July 17, 1961, in Gunnison, Mississippi to the late Lee and Hattie L. Gill. He later resided to Gary, IN in 1967. MacArthur attended Horace Mann High School in Gary, IN.

MacArthur, A.K.A “Baby”, B.K.A “Boo-Man” was a very loving and caring husband, father, son, brother, uncle and cousin.

MacArthur did plenty of work in his lifetime which included PCA  Roofing, and Water Blasting.

MacArthur loved to work, dance, cook, dress up, sing and enjoyed spending time with his family.

MacArthur was introduced to the woman of his life in 2013 and later married her in 2024.

MacArthur is preceded in death by his sons; James Issac Sr. and Tony Washington, father; Lee, and mother; Hattie Gill, three sisters Jennie, Lisa Gill and Jessie Lee.A

MacArthur leaves to cherish his memories to his loving wife Yolanda Gill, three sons; Christopher Pope, Jesse (Tameka) Issac, and LaJuan Price,  four daughters Shanay, Shyniece Pope, Akira Washington and Timia Thomas, mother-in-law; Asalee Price  Allen, five sisters; Sherley (Robert) Wilson, Coresa (Joe) Williams, Eddie Wheeler, Melessie Gill, and Katie Funches, eight brothers; Lee (Shandra) Gill, Robert Gill, Albert Gill, Tony (Viverly), James, Jerome, and Marvin Gill, one brother-in-law; John Price and one sister-in-law; Kimberly Starks; twenty-three grandchildren, one great grandchild, a host of nieces, great nieces, nephews, great nephews, cousins, and special friends; Roosevelt, Stacy and Keith.

We all enjoyed and appreciated Boo-Man with lots of Love.
