LIFE HISTORY OF A QUEEN
Latayah Pam Renee Young A.K.A “China” was born on July 21, 2000 in South Bend, IN to Ima Young and Kenneth Dogan.
Latayah earned her G.E.D and went on to be an entrepreneur and later became a loving mother to two children who were both her pride and her joy.
Latayah “China Young” passed away at the age of 22 years old the evening of Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at Memorial Hospital in South Bend IN.
She is survived by her mother Ima Young, father Kenneth Dogan, and two children Kailonni and Demarcus Young all of South Bend IN. Maternal siblings: Laray “Osama” Young, Seqouiyah Malone, Latrell Young, Seqaylah Young, Perriana Towne, and William Johnson. Paternal siblings: Kenneth III, Jasmine, Mah’king, Kentorious, Elijah, Lanijah, Asia, & Ha’Lasha & her only surviving grandmother Pamela Dogan. Maternal aunt Myiesha Young & Maternal uncles: Donnie Cutler, Landen Patton, & Robert Young. Paternal aunts: Dorcas Eaton, Shunette Brown, Stephanie Brown & Abigail Mcthune. Paternal uncles Terrance Dogan and Geon Dogan & close dear friends Jalynn Williams, Tajara Hodge and Chasity Sangster.
She is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and many many friends.
Proceeding her in death were maternal grandparents Elnora Patton and Robert Young, maternal uncle Antonian Young, maternal cousins Antonia Young & Dominique Herron, paternal grandfather Kenneth Butler, paternal cousin Ralphael Dogan, paternal uncle Victor Tillis Jr. & paternal aunts Della Butler & Ashanti Dean.
