Johnnie was many things, he was a son, a brother, and a beloved family member to many others. " A best friend" as his big sister would say, but more like his second mother. Malia would do anything and everything for her baby brother, even if she knew we didn't agree with it, her argument being "that's my baby bro". As a big brother and uncle, Johnnie was a star. A shining beacon of light, with just a smile, Johnnie would bring light to the darkest of rooms.
Johnnie was a recording artist. His music was his passion, his outlet, and he was truly something great. With his God given ability, he was able to master the spoken word. "1k got bars" as everyone who heard him flow would say. Even as a child, Johnnie always had a lot to say, and music was his choice of self expression. Johnnie will be remembered as a gentle loving spirit, able to lead and influence others with his God given charisma. He will be remembered as a loving and playful big brother who at times was stern, but only out of love, a best friend. An uncle, who taught his nephews to stand as men, but was never too busy to toss them in a quick wrestling move. A beloved son, a bright and shining star in the eyes of his parents. A Mama's boy through and through, whose love and bond burned with a passion. A grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend, who brought much joy and love to any and everyone around him. Johnnie was many, many things, but above all, Johnnie was a child of Christ.
"He said come on with me my child, I will wash away your Strife"
Johnnie went to sleep on this side, and woke up in paradise.
