Jewell Allen

Jewell Roosevelt Allen was born in Indianapolis to Madonna L. Anderson and Gus E. Anderson on January 24, 1983. He attended school at Crispus Attucks and  graduated from Broad Ripple High School. Jewell was attending Purdue University, where he earned an associates degree in Criminal Law and was in the process of getting his bachelor’s degree. 

Jewell was a very outgoing person who had an outgoing personality.. He had so many friends that he earned the nickname “All of Kenwood''. Jewell loved playing the lottery as much as he loved his Mary J. He was very strategic about the numbers and seemed to always have a winning ticket. He loved listening to Tupac and Young Dolph. Jewell was currently working at JB Hunt's Warehouse in Greenwood,IN, but previously worked on cars with Dad Rob and BW3’s. Jewell believed in the universe. 

Jewell always pushed and encouraged his nieces and nephews to do well in school. He would always look out for them and make sure they were “fresh”. He cherished his time with his family and was always there if anyone needed him. Jewell was our champion and he will forever be missed.

Jewell departed this life on May 26, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents: Madonna L. Anderson and Gus E. Anderson; brother: Anthony Allen; and his paternal and maternal grandparents.

Jewell leaves to cherish his memory: siblings: Reaven (John) Cooper and Augusta Allen, two nephews, five nieces and a host of uncles, aunties, cousins and friends.
