Jerry Lee Gammon was born July 9, 1970, in Indianapolis, Indiana to Thelma and Charles Gammon. Jerry was the best brother you could ask for. He was an amazing son, nephew, cousin and even a great uncle. He was kind with a smile that would light up a room. He had the kind of personality that would make you want to sit and laugh with him all day. Jerry knew his bible front to back and was a great open hearted man who would give you the shirt off his back. Jerry was extroverted and outspoken. Jerry loved everyone and everyone loved Jerry. He loved playing with his nephew Andreice Howard (“Stinky”) even though he gave him a run for his money. Jerry graduated from Arsenal Tech High School and was jack of all trades which included work at Goodwill and Ray’s Trash Service.
Jerry departed this life to be with our Heavenly Father on March 1, 2023, at the age of 52.
Jerry leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Thelma and Charles Gammon, his sisters Michelle Gammon and Betty Hatton, his brothers Avery, Charles and John Gammon as well as his aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and great nephews.
Jerry was preceded in death by his grandparents Lacey and John Frazier, John Gammon Sr and Mamie Morris. Nephews Dyani Sanders (Gammon) and Avery Bowie Gammon.
