Grace Kerschawndolynn Donaldson was born on December 26, 1975. Her parents Steve and Dianne Donaldson raised her in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was lovingly known by her family and close friends as “Poobie”. Her grandmother, Grace Elliot, whom she was named afer, was responsible for assigning her that moniker.
Poobie thrived in her creative grace. Even as a little girl, she expressed herself through the arts. She loved to sing, dance, draw, write poetry, pen lyrics to songs, and most of all, she took pleasure in painting.
She began painting as an adult; it was both her therapy and her gif to others. She would spend hours musing in thought, sketching, exploring, and tweaking her ideas until her vision came to life through paint on her canvas.
While Grace spent many years working as a cosmetologist, her greatest service in life was dedicated to working with children. She felt fulflled by nurturing young people as a daycare teacher, workingattheYMCA,andmostrecentlyinWashingtonTownship as a bus monitor. She will be remembered for the unconditional love she shared and the lasting impact she made on future generations.
Grace transitioned from Earth to be with our Father on Tuesday, March 28, 2023.
