Elbert Hornbeak

Elbert Andrew Hornbeak Jr., “Boomer”, was born January 16, 1962 to Elbert Hornbeak Sr. and Mary Ann Berry in Indianapolis, IN. Elbert was the eldest of his siblings, He attended IPS schools in elementary and John Marshall Highschool.

Elbert “Boomer” professed his faith in Christ at an early age. He was a member of New Haven Baptist Church. Elbert “Boomer” loved to dance and party. He loved on all of his friends and family. He never met a stranger; everyone was family to him. Elbert “Boomer” was so outstanding and loved by everybody and was called “Boomer the Dancing Machine”.

Elbert A Hornbeak Jr., “Boomer”, departed this life on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at the age of 59. He was preceded in death by his father: Elbert Hornbeak Sr. and mother: Mary Ann Berry (Alvin “Pat” Berry). 

He leaves behind wife: Angela D. Craft Hornbeak; daughter: Andrea Hornbeak Carter; grandson: Andre’ Carter; siblings: Faye Duerson, Sherry Hornbeak Quinn (Will), Bridget Hornbeak Green, Quincy Hornbeak (Tina), Telisha Berry Covington (Tony), Alvin Berry Jr. (Marixa) and a host of Nieces and Nephews, Great Nieces and Great Nephews, and Great Great Nieces and Nephews, Family and Friends.
