Denice “Neicy” Lavonne Cowan was born September 12, 1963, in Chicago, Illinois to Christina Nowell and Cleveland Bryant.
Neicy accepted Christ at an early age and was educated by Chicago Public Schools. Neicy was loved by many. She was married for 24 years to her husband (Keith Cowan). She loved her music, dancing, traveling to different places, her family and friends, but most of all her grandchildren, Tashianna, Ty’ron, KeMarcus and Ty’eir.
Neicy leaves to cherish her memory, daughters Nicole Nowell and Natashi Nowell of Indianapolis, IN, grandchildren Tashianna Yates, Ty’ron Barber, Ke’Marcus Jackson and Ty’eir Nowell all of Indianapolis, IN. Parents, Christina Nowell and Cleveland Bryant of Chicago, IL. Siblings, Kenneth C. Nowell, Michelle Nowell (James), Earl Nowell, Kevin Nowell (Yvonne Nowell), aunt, Constance McGhee and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, family and friends.
Neicy was preceded in death by her husband, “Keithy” Cowan and nephew Devon C. Nowell.
