Mrs. Denice Sims Hoskins daughter of Wilma Shields Webster (Robert) and Father Marshall Sims (Ernestine) was born on February 23, 1959, in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Mrs. Denice excepted Christ in her life at an early age and was united in holy matrimony to Mr. Jerry L. Hoskins on July 10, 1978.
Denice was raised and resided on the near east side but also lived on the near west side (Haughville) for many years. She graduated from the public school system (Shortridge High School), she worked at Red Roof Inn as a manager for a few years and served as a dietary aide at American Village.
Denice had love for fashion (Shopping), her little sis Teresa, her husband, children and grandchildren. She could 2 step her heart away and sing her soul out to “Wild Flower” and Betty Wright’s “Tonight Is The Night”.
Denice was later diagnosed with a mental disorder where she no longer worked and took time to be a mother, wife and grandmother.
Mrs. Denice Sims Hoskins departed this life on September 20, 2021, at the age of 62 years young. She was proceeded in death by her mother Wilma Webster.
She leaves to cherish her memories her husband Jerry L. Hoskins Sr.; sons, Jerry L. Hoskins, Jr. and Phillip Hoskins and daughter, LaShawna (Purp) Hoskins. Her grandchildren, Skylar, David Jr. and Daveon. Her sister, Teresa Williams (Willis), brother, Robert L. Webster, IV (Kenya), niece, Reina Jones, nephews, Lamont Fields, Robert James Jones and Robert L. Webster, V. Also, great-nieces and nephews and a host of cousins and friends.
