Curtis Shelby

Curtis Shelby’s life began on December 8, 1993, in
Minneapolis, Minnesota, to his loving mother, Danielle
Ramsey. With great sadness, Curtis was just 28 years old
when he lost his life due to gun violence and made his
transition to his eternal resting place on June 6, 2022.
Curtis enjoyed spending time with his brother Xzavier as
well as family and friends. Curtis enjoyed being active,
whether it was playing sports or job related.
Curtis leaves to cherish his memories: his mother, Danielle
Ramsey of South Bend, Indiana; his son, Zahki Shelby;
his daughter, Amirah Shelby, both of Minneapolis,
Minnesota; a sister, Breah; a brother, Xzavier, both of
Minneapolis, Minnesota; his grandparents, Jim and Carol
Ramsey of South Bend, Indiana; and a host of family and
friends.
His great-aunt Janine Ramsey preceded him in death.
