Mr. Cordell L. Laster, “Pookie,” was born October 3, 1974, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to the union of Cordell and Judy Laster.
He attended Warren Central High School in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Cordell was a devoted dad, nephew, brother, and grandfather. He loved spending time with his family, friends, children, and grandchildren having fun and enjoying one another.
Cordell was self-employed for a number of years and excelled as a successful Entrepreneur.
Cordell departed this life on July 8, 2021. He was preceded in death by his mother Judy Marie Laster.
He leaves to cherish his wife Penny Laster, Cordell Laster (dad), his children Kayla, Shay, Trionna, Jaylen, Lauren, Cordell Jr., Damon, Taylor, Jordan, five grandchildren Nylah, Jaylen Jr., Gianna, Dion and Santana; Aunt Kathy, who loved him as her own, a host aunts, a special uncle Oscar D. Thomas, cousins, family and friends.
