Christopher McLeary-Watson Obituary

Christopher also known as, “Manny-Man”, “Dickie”, “C-Dubb”, attended Indianapolis Public Schools and Speedway High School where he played football. Chris has always had a love for listening to music, it’s likely if you saw him, he was wearing his headphones.

Chris accepted Christ and was baptized at Olivet Missionary Baptist Church. He faithfully attended and served the Lord currently with Holy Spirit Led Ministries. He was the HSLM BBQ Master for the annual church picnic for several consecutive years and enjoyed helping with the homeless outreach programs. Chris kept a big bag of candy on hand to share with children whether at church or while he was out in the community.

Chris was always a supporter of Indiana sports teams; not a day went by where he wasn’t representing the Indiana Pacers and/or the Indianapolis Colts. Friday nights were reserved for watching WWE with his mom. He enjoyed bonding with loved ones, cooking, and eating. His cheeseburgers and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches were legendary. He was known for color coordinating his fits with the shoes, hat, and glasses to match.

Chris was an avid video game player, frequently playing GTA- Saints Row. Chris loved to laugh, crack jokes, and quote comedic movie lines. He will forever be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and the genuine love he shared with all he encountered. Daily, he reached out to loved ones near and far via text, phone, or FaceTime just to check-in. The family of Christopher Watson would like to express their sincere gratitude and heartfelt appreciation for all the acts of love, contributions, and care expressed during this difficult time.
