Brishonda Moshae Bunton was born in Indianapolis, Indiana,
on January 15, 1999, to Bene’e Byers and the late Maurice
Bunton.
Brishonda attended Metropolitan Township Schools for
elementary school and graduated from Ben Davis High
School as part of the class of 2017. She was certi ed and
licensed as an armed security guard, excelling to a supervisor
role. Brishonda was also an entrepreneur and the founder of
Preeminent1, LLC.
Brishonda had a love for music, animals, traveling, shing,
and nature. She mastered videography and later pursued
acting. Brishonda accepted an acting role and was to appear
in an upcoming YouTube series. She was a loving and
compassionate person; at every opportunity, she spent time
with her family. She had a sense of humor out of this world, a
lingering laugh, and a smile you’ll never forget.
Brishonda took pride in educating others and was an active
voice for African Americans. She was connected to and
aware of her history, background, and roots by supporting
and uplifing minority organizations. Brishonda was goal-
oriented, a peacemaker, and free-spirited.
Brishonda departed this life on Monday, April 25, 2022. She
was twenty-three years old. She was preceded in death by her
father, Maurice O. Bunton.
Brishonda leaves behind: her mother, Bene’e Byers; siblings,
Monaejah Byers and Bene’e Byers II; nephew, Malachi Byers;
niece, McKenzie Byers; as well as grandparents, aunts, uncles,
cousins, and a host of friends.
