Blondell (McConnell) Harrell

Mrs. Blondell McConnell Harrell was born to the late Robert and Queenie McConnell on November 4,
1942 in Marietta, Georgia. Blon was the 4 th of 10 children and often times, Mama Queenie, relied on the
older children to care for the younger ones. Blon accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at
Cole Street Baptist Church in Marietta, Ga. Throughout her life she was a diligent servant and nurtured
her faith along the way. Blondell attended Our Savior Evangelical Lutheran Church over 30 years where
she retired as church secretary and was a diligent church worker as well having served in many office’s
boards, and auxiliaries during her tenure.
Blondell was married to Mr. William Henry Harrell Jr for 59 years and born 2 kids, a daughter Crystal and
a son Adrian. He preceded her in death.
Blondell McConnell Harrell departed this life on Wednesday, April 20, 2022. She will be remembered for
her faithfulness to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, the devotion she showed her family a wife, sister,
and mother, and the humility she showed to all she met.
The family wishes to thank everyone for all the calls, texts, prayers and condolences while they mourn
the loss of this extraordinary presence. The prayers are felt and all condolences are much appreciated.
