Aubrey Anderson Obituary

Born on December 21, 1973 to Sandra (Percival) Woods and Kenneth Wells, in Indianapolis, Indiana. Aubrey will be remembered by his outgoing and funny personality; always the life of the party.

Aubrey departed this life on Saturday, April. 16, 2022 at the age of 48.

Aubrey attended Arsenal Technical High School and graduated in 1993. He later went on to attend the Marion County Sheriff’s Office Academy in 2005, where he recently celebrated 17 years of irreplaceable service to the MCSO and our community.

Aubrey met the love of his life, Sherron in 2005 and they married in 2008, where they created a blended family of 7 kids.

Aubrey accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Bethany Missionary Baptist Church. He later joined Fervent Prayer Church in 2009, where he was a faithful Armour Bearer for several years.

Aubrey was very likable and loved by many. His huge personality was contagious. He was a joker, talker and loved to sing off key and dance off beat. Aubrey was a hard worker with very good work ethics on and off the job. He was a natural born hustler; from driving dump trucks back in the day to cutting grass, cleaning gutters, working multiple part time jobs and picking up extra work shifts.

He even played Semi Pro football for several years; proudly wearing #37 for all the teams he played for.

Aubrey was a family man and loved to brag about his family and show off their pictures to anyone that would look and listen. He was exceptionally proud of all of his kids!

Aubrey leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Sherron Anderson; sons, Aubrey K., and Bryce Anderson, Cameron, Christopher and Corri Hunn; daughters, Niakia and Lauren Anderson; two grandsons, Elijah Anderson and Cameron “CJ” Hunn; his parents, Sandra and Percival Woods; siblings, James Ingram, Tazzy Burnett (Yashira), Anthony Woods, Mary Burnett, Kalen Wells, Darnise and Tarea Woods, and Tashana (Kenneth) Landrum; mother in love, Letita Benson-Heeter (Gregory); father in love, Gerald Benson Jr. (Theresa) and sister in love, Errica (Christopher) Cobb; his foster dog, Diesel, nieces, nephews, a host of aunts and uncles, family, friends and MCSO family.

Aubrey is preceded in death by his father: Kenneth Wells and brother: Preston “PJ” Woods.
